This is what the words of John point toward: "… you will know the truth and the truth will lead you to freedom." Only this freedom, won in such a way, establishes identity between within and without. Before the free deed, done in love, goes a sacrifice. One sacrifices something that belongs entirely to oneself, that has become the possession of the higher I-hood, and gives it forth. When this becomes inner disposition within a community that works together for the sake of a commonly recognized task, a wind of freedom breathes through the willing.
